About Young Channel Leaders

Who we are

Young Channel Leaders (YCL) is a growing community of professionals under 40 working in the technology and telecom channel. We’re here to create space, visibility, and opportunity for the next generation of channel leadership.

We’re also proud to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting young talent and building a stronger, more connected channel community.

Why We Exist

The channel has a pipeline problem. It’s full of opportunity, but young professionals often don’t get the support, exposure, or leadership development they deserve.

We’re changing that. YCL exists to build a powerful network of rising stars across all roles in the channel, from sales and marketing to engineering, operations, and everything in between.

What We Do

We bring young professionals together through:

  • Community Chats: Join our active Discord group for daily connection and peer support

  • Events: Monthly virtual events, expert-led panels, and in-person meetups at industry conferences

  • Mentorship: Informal, peer-driven mentorship programs that prioritize real-world insight over formality

  • Leadership Opportunities: Join our board, lead committees, or launch new initiatives

  • Visibility & Growth: Get recognized, published, and heard across the channel
