Privacy
Young Channel Leaders (YCL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. This page says what we collect, why, and where it goes.
We do not sell your information. We never give our member list to sponsors.
When you join
The join form asks for your name, email, phone, company, city, state and ZIP, age and how you heard about us. If you want, you can add why you are joining. We do not ask for your street address.
We use it to:
- welcome you and send you the group chat link
- tell you about YCL events, especially in your city
- check that members are under 40
Invites are your choice. If you tick “Stay in the loop” on the join form, or tap “Get YCL invites” after you join, we also send invites to meetups, free webinars and channel job leads. That is about one email a month. Every invite has an unsubscribe link. Leave the box empty and you only get your welcome emails and member notices.
Your answers go into a Google Sheet that only the YCL team can open. From there they go into GoHighLevel, the tool we use to send YCL emails. It sends your welcome email and one follow-up a few days later.
Other forms
The contact form and the city lead application save what you type in our site database. A copy is emailed to the YCL team so we can reply.
Events
We use Luma for event sign-ups. When you RSVP, Luma collects your name and email under its own privacy policy. Luma sends event reminders.
Sponsors help pay for our events. When you RSVP to a sponsored event, we ask if we may share your name, email, company and job title with that event's sponsor. Say no and we don't share. We never share your phone, address or age. The sponsor may only contact you about their own company, must honor unsubscribes, and may not sell or pass on your details.
Logins
City leads and members who sign in use Clerk. Clerk keeps your email address and sends you a sign-in code. We do not use passwords.
The website
Cloudflare runs this website. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and browser. Our forms use a Cloudflare bot check. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people join. It uses cookies. You can block them in your browser and the site still works.
Getting removed
Want out? Use the contact form and say "remove me". We delete you from the Sheet, our email tool and our database, and remove you from the YCL WhatsApp groups. Every YCL email also has an unsubscribe link.
Changes
If this changes, we update this page. Last updated October 11, 2026.
