Samuel Mena

Sam Mena is the Events Director for Young Channel Leaders (YCL)

As a purpose-driven leader, Sam is passionate about bridging business and community. He is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders to collaborate, connect, and build their careers with vision and integrity.

Sam leads the strategy and execution for all organizational events. He is responsible for designing and producing experiences from digital summits to in-person meetups that unite and inspire emerging professionals across the IT and channel ecosystem. He works closely with the board to ensure every YCL event fosters collaboration, connection, and meaningful leadership development.

Sam has built a career centered on helping organizations grow through strategic alignment, authentic relationships, and value-driven execution. His background includes extensive experience in IT sales, channel development, and entrepreneurship, giving him a deep understanding of the channel ecosystem.

Beyond his channel career, Sam is deeply committed to public service. He previously served as Chairman of the Acelero Learning Advisory Board, guiding educational initiatives, and as a Councilman for the Borough of Helmetta, where he worked to strengthen community engagement. He also brings over eight years of experience as a volunteer firefighter, reflecting a lifelong commitment to serving others.

When he’s not working or serving, Sam loves spending time with his family, cooking amazing meals, and (as of late) challenging himself with long-distance runs. A man of deep faith, he is active in his church's youth ministry and participates in global mission trips. He operates by the philosophy: "Build with vision, lead with strength, and serve with purpose."
